The Contract:
Ongoing, Part Time 48.0 hours per fortnight plus an additional 16.0 hours fixed term contract until December 2024
The Position:
In this diverse role your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist managers with the implementation of new policies and processes relating to allied health staff, as appropriate
- Establish and maintain a clinical placement program for Allied Health Professionals and Assistants which includes sound systems of clinical supervision for students and graduates
- Lead and support the Allied Health Teams to develop and implement educational programs that are evidence-based in androgogy and align with organisational goals, ACHS National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other funding accreditation bodies.
- Current qualification as an Allied Health Professional with current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the Allied Health Profession
- Previous experience in a clinical leadership and/or education role would be an advantage
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment or completion of a graduate certificate in education or health professional education or willingness to undertake
