This role will contribute as a member of the Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan Leadership Team to ensure sustainability of Allied Health Services as a key partner in the achievement of patient safety and quality outcomes, patient flow initiatives, collaborative workforce models resulting in a great patient experience.

Access theThis position attracts a Queensland Health Attraction Incentive of up to $20,000 - find out if you qualify here:About us:Allied Health staff within Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan Group provide services to subacute units on the Rockhampton Hospital campus, Yeppoon and Mt Morgan Hospitals, Paediatric Services based at Rockhampton Community Health and Chronic Disease programs located at Central Queensland University.About the role:The Director of Allied Health (Sub Acute) will provide high level leadership and strategic direction for the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary Allied Health Services at a business unit level, based on collaborative partnerships, to promote clinical service integration with continuous service evaluation and improvement that supports the continuum of care across the patient journey.About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Possession of at least a tertiary degree qualification from a recognised tertiary institution in a relevant, eligible Health Practitioner discipline providing eligibility for registration and/or membership with the appropriate registration authority and/or professional association in Australia is mandatory.
- Where a discipline is registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), proof of current registration is required. Where a discipline is not registrable, at least proof of eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association is necessary.
- An hourly rate between $79.09 - $81.87 p.h.
