In this role your responsibilities will include:
- To take a lead role in ensuring a robust governance framework for Allied Health education and training
- To build the capacity of NBMLHD Allied Health professions to be active in education and research
- To contribute to Allied Health workforce sustainability by building capacity to provide high quality undergraduate education, new graduate programs, and continuing professional development across the district
- To facilitate and take the lead on planning, implementation and evaluation of education and research for all Allied Health professions across NBMLHD
- To develop and sustain collaborative working partnerships with teaching and training and research agencies
- To provide advice on the strategic use of Allied Health continuing professional Development resources

Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.Selection Criteria to be Addressed: * Degree in either Social Work, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy or Podiatry with current AHPRA registration where applicable
- Substantial postgraduate clinical experience and demonstrated skill in clinical teaching
- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing research and evaluation of projects
- Evidence of excellent negotiation, decision making and advisory skills including abilities to effectively build and maintain professional relationships and interact collaboratively with stakeholders, through all organisation levels
- Experience in the ability to design, develop and evaluate professional education, with qualifications in adult education or a willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of and experience with quality improvement and evidence based practice
- High-level written and oral communication skills, computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records, word processing and databases
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
