Allied Health Professional (Youth Health)

The roleAs part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality health and wellbeing services to young people, the occupant will:

• Foster the capacity of young people to manage and maintain better health and wellbeing outcomes on an individual and group basis.
• Provide health and wellbeing promotion and preventative services.
• Work as part of a well-supported and cohesive team who are passionate about Youth Health and improving outcomes for young people.

Details of AppointmentFixed term, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for approximately six (6) months.*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary:$71,441 to $107,878 pro-rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligibleIn addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

• Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or
• Degree in Social Work giving eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or
• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: * Conviction checks in the following areas:
