Allied Health Receptionist

Better Health Pathway is a busy podiatry clinic based in Rockhampton.  We have an amazing opportunity for both a full-time and casual receptionist to join our team. 

• Greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner
• Attending to phone calls and emails
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Processing patient payments including private, medicare and DVA claims
• Uploading and entering patient data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide high quality support to Allied Health Practitioners in a professional manner using excellence communication skills both verbal and written
• Fax, scan and email documents 

• Warm, friendly disposition
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Excellent typing skills 
• Efficient computer skills and be willing to up skill to use our practice software.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi task with high attention to detail
• Confidentially is a must 
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team
• Ability to follow policies and procedures whilst prioritising tasks
• Must have well developed communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience as an Allied Health or medical receptionist would be an advantage
