Allied Health Receptionist

• Largest podiatry group serving the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane
• Full-time, 9 day fortnight
• No late evening or weekend shifts

The position
Dan Everson Podiatry has four clinics on the Sunshine Coast, including its flagship clinic in Maroochydore. There are also two clinics in the Brisbane area. They are seeking to employ an experienced receptionist to work in the busy Caloundra podiatry clinic. This role requires a mature confident person, with a professional approach to work.  

In line with Dan Everson Podiatry's workplace policies, the successful candidate must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. 

What the job involves
In this role, you will be responsible for: 

• taking phone calls, dealing with patient enquiries, and booking appointments;
• meeting and greeting patients;
• maintaining the professional presentation and cleanliness of the practice;
• preparing letters of referral to doctors and Allied Health professionals;
• managing billing and payments; and
• managing diary appointments for podiatrists.

The person we are looking for
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• at least two years’ experience working as a receptionist (and experience as a medical/Allied Health Receptionist an advantage);
• mature and responsible outlook, and a desire to make the role your own;
• ability to work autonomously;
• strong communication and customer service skills;
• good written communication skills;
• good computer skills (including Word, Excel, Email);
• an understanding of hygiene, cleaning and infection control measures as required in a medical setting, and especially in relation to COVID-19; and
• ability to sterilise instruments an advantage.
