- Demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in inpatient and outpatient as well as outreach rural generalist Physiotherapy which has been obtained through significant professional development activities, post-graduate education or formal qualification(s).
- Demonstrated leadership, knowledge and abilities to manage a small team and organise work unit structure.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively at a high-level providing support and leadership within a multidisciplinary team and with a diverse range of clients.
- Independently deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services to inpatients, outpatients, community and outreach clients (including assessment, diagnosis and treatment interventions) as part of a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Provide leadership in quality improvements for physiotherapy and Allied Health Services at the Mareeba Hospital and within the Tablelands Allied Health team. This includes identifying systems, leading change and monitoring outcomes that enhance the delivery of physiotherapy and Allied Health Services, including Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and use of Telehealth as well as conduct outreach services within the CHHHS.
- Proactively contribute to patient outcomes on a daily basis, with duties including attendance at interprofessional team meetings as appropriate, liaising with team members and organising community services, including NDIS.
