Job description

Dalby Allied Health is looking for a new member or members to join our administration team. This position is a minimum of 9 months, with the possibility of extension. This position would commence June 2024. 

About this position: 

As a key member of our team, you are the first point of contact for all clients and visitors, virtually or in person, and need to convey the friendly and professional demeanour of our practice. You will be supporting our wonderful team of Allied Health professionals and work alongside other administration team members. You will actively maintain your knowledge of the services provided through Dalby Allied Health. On-the-job training and orientation will be provided. For this role you will have to be available Monday-Friday between 7:30am-5:30pm.

Key responsibilities:   

  • Answering phone and email enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Issuing client invoices and receipts, quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, Age Care, DVA, NDIS and health funds. 
  • Entering data and maintaining patient database.
  • Management of incoming and outgoing mail and email.
  • General office and reception duties. 
  • Banking and end of day reconciliation. 
  • Management of referrals, scanning and filing of documents. 

About you:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Ability to learn new tasks and systems. 
  • Ability to always provide a high level of customer service. 
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently. 
  • The ability to work a flexible roster. 
  • Be friendly and welcoming, creating an environment that ensures clients receive the best care possible. 
  • Have a technical aptitude and able to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in NDIS, Age Care, Medicare and DVA will be a bonus.
  • Proficient computer skills - experienced in use of Nookal, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in customer service or administration.  
  • Well presented.
