About the Role

Reporting to the Planner, you will be responsible for the planning & control of merchandise to drive profitability through maintaining adequate levels of inventory in store. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Allocation of inventory into stores for replenishment, new lines/ranges, promotions and special sales events
• Analysis, evaluation and recommendations on product and store performance
• Research and understand seasonal trends – opportunities and risk
• Maximising business results through optimising our inventory
• Monitoring inventory levels across supply chain channels to allow a smooth flow of stock
• Stock to sales ratio analysis and other sales trend analysis to ensure right stock is in right stores at right time

About You

• Minimum 1 year + experience in allocations within the retail industry
• Previous store retail experience to understand stock flow cycles and impacts (desirable)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise & high attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Intermediate Excel skills - solid understanding of the program and comfortable using basic formulas.
• SAP experience will be highly regarded
