Indianic provides marine construction and subsea services primarily within Western Australia. We are growing our surface construction line and require a Fabricator Welder to join our team.
Your working hours will consist of Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.30pm. (This may vary depending on operational need, flexibility is a must). 8 – 10 hours days, no weekends.
Successful applicants will demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team and have good communication skills with a flexible attitude.
Specifically, we are looking for;
- Ability to work with Aluminium components,
- Essential experience with Aluminium Milling,
- MIG Welding of Aluminium parts,
- Cutting of Aluminium according to drawings,
- Fabricating framing from start to finish,
- Experience using handheld tools for shaping, welding, bolting and cutting,
- Ability to work independently,
- High level of safety.
Highly desirable but not essential;
- Australian recognised Boiler Making and/or Welding Trade Qualification.
- Boat building experience
