Topline Aluminium is a Perth owned small business experiencing significant growth working on a range of long term government projects as well as private sector commercial projects. We pride ourselves in fabricating and installing the best quality commercial aluminium windows and doors.
We are looking for:
Experienced commercial Aluminium installers and glaziers for our small, dedicated and hardworking team. We are looking to fill multiple positions, and the right people will be developed as Leading Hands
We will also consider a carpenter/cabinet maker interested in a career . change and willing to learn another skill set.
The core responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication / assembly drawings
- Unloading, unpacking and stacking aluminium extrusions
- Cutting aluminium extrusions using a high-speed drop saw
- Fabrication of windows and doors using power tools including plunger routers, crimpers etc.
- Assembly and installation aluminium windows, doors and hardware
- Assisting with the delivery and installation of frames and glass as required - some travel within WA may be required
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in commercial aluminium windows and door fabrication (preferred)
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Forklift license (desirable)
- Knowledge of the Alspec and Capral system (preferred)
- Punctual, reliable, motivated and good at problem solving
- Must have an eye for detail and have the ability to work on their own with excellent time management skills
- Be able to follow instructions
- Excellent work history, demonstrating the highest level of honesty, integrity and reliability.
- Confidence and experience in using relevant power tools.
- White card or equivalent
These are full time positions offering a competitive wage to be negotiated based on your skills, qualifications and experience. Must bring own basic hand tools and drills, and be willing to travel within WA.
