We're seeking a Metering & Analyser Engineer to join our forward-thinking team at INPEX Australia who is passionate about precision, data, and innovation.
As a Metering & Analyser Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Analyser and Metering Systems during the Operate Phase. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and compliance.
This role offers a flexible work arrangement, providing the option for either part-time (0.8) or full-time hours.
Key responsibilities include:
Act as a technical expert for Analysers and Metering by providing high quality and timely technical advice
Maintain and update the Analyser and Metering Management Plan as required.
Responsible for ensuring Analyser and Metering modifications follow the Technical Change Management System.
Establish performance monitoring programs
Maintain Analyser and Metering maintenance strategies, maintenance procedures and sparing strategies.
Provide input into the maintenance planning process – 120-day, 45 day and 14 planning cycles.
Mentoring of Young Engineers and QMI Technicians
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
Trade Certificate, Degree, or relevant experience. Non-degreed personnel will be considered where competency within the field can be demonstrated at depth.
Skilled in the utilisation of Analyser and Metering Standards and Codes of Practise.
Broad experience with the requirements of gas metering, condensate metering, wet gas metering and multiphase metering (including selection, specification, calibration, verification, and auditing). For candidates that don’t have the required expertise then training and coaching will be available.
Have suitable transportation to and from the Ichthys LNG Onshore Processing Facility located at Bladin Point.
Current Australian driver's license
Ability to organize and/or carry out hands on technical evaluations in own sphere.
Strong interpersonal skills in fostering teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.
Highly accomplished communication and presentation skills.
