Role Overview:
We are currently working with a leading multi-billion-dollar Australian financial firm based in Sydney, which is looking to hire a Senior Analyst for their Finance and Systems team. Following a great financial year, this role was created as part of a future growth strategy aimed at enhancing their data and Financial Systems. In this role, you will provide comprehensive analytical support across various departments, concentrating on data management and Financial Systems.
Collaborating with the broader team, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the client's data and Financial Systems.
Additionally, you will lead key improvements in data governance, including creating data visualizations, working on data-focused projects, and effectively administering the Financial Systems. You will manage stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver necessary outcomes for data and reporting across the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Gather, analyse, and interpret extensive datasets to support strategic decisions.
- Design and implement customised data governance frameworks.
- Manage data access and confidentiality across all financial platforms.
- Oversee the maintenance and administration of Financial Systems, serving as a primary point of contact.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated reports and visualizations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and laws.
- Oversee data access and usage to ensure compliance with governance policies.
You have a finance background with CA or CPA certification, along with a functional experience in using BI, data, ERP, and EPM systems. Ideally, you will have an experience in working on projects for Finance and Investment Firms.
You are experienced in overseeing the production of data visualisations tools and the administration of systems such as BI, ERP and EPM, and are experience in Stakeholder management as the main point of contact for various teams.
