We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a vital role in driving strategic decision-making and profitable growth for our APMEA business (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa). Reporting to the Regional Controller APMEA, you will establish close collaboration with the Director of Corporate Finance, the finance & accounting teams, and other functional groups. The key role responsibilities include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop budgets, forecasts, and regular reports, including detailed financial analysis (P&L, net working capital, revenue & margin).
- Data Efficiency & Automation: Develop tools and participate in the implementation and development of Planful CPM to streamline data analysis and reporting.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, recommend improvements based on past performance.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with teams, prepare forecasts, participate in presentations, and collaborate with global analysts.
- Financial Modelling & Analysis: Create financial models (ROI, discount cash flows etc), perform ad-hoc analysis, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Beyond the essential accounting qualifications, experience, and technical excellence in Excel-based financial modelling, the ideal candidate for this role will also demonstrate the following attributes:
