ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to senior leadership, this role involves understanding
Investment Datasets and contributing to the development of reports and dashboards using Power BI. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in the investments sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Review and understand Investment Data and associated data models.
- Engage with business teams to gather data analysis needs and reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Conduct analytics of Investment Datasets to provide insights and trends to business teams.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand business drivers and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Maintain comprehensive solution documentation and provide ongoing support and enhancements to reporting solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years' experience in the funds management sector, with a strong emphasis on experience with Investment Data and Power BI.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience in gathering business requirements.
- Exposure to data governance frameworks and enterprise architecture.
- Experience in conducting collaborative workshops to capture unmet needs.
- Tertiary qualifications in business systems, computer science, finance, or related field.
- Understanding of investment products and services.
- Proficiency in Power BI for complex dashboards and reports.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
