Analyst Programmer

REX SERVICE PTY LTD is a leader in wholesale and cross-border e-commerce that requires effective data sharing and a scalable platform. Focusing on our digital strategy, we rely on a core ERP system and cloud-based supporting systems to improve customer conversion and retention. The complex ERP system manages core business operations and covers functions such as finance, human capital management, order management and supply chain management. And the company adapts to changing market demands by providing customised IT solutions and offering supply-chain solutions to major e-commerce platforms including B2C, B2B2C, and C2C channels in overseas. To meet the support needs of the ERP system and other business applications, we are seeking a full-time Analyst Programmer to develop and maintain effective service tools and environments as needed. Duties include resolving user problems, maintaining programs, maintenance of technical documentation, supporting version upgrades, implementing new modules or functionality, and working with business process teams for process improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program and applications requirements based on company’s needs.
• Analysing and identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
• Collating and utilising relevant data to create and define system specifications. 
• Designing and managing software implementation projects and business process change to enhance system performance.
• Working with other developers to handle complex modules and integrating systems between platforms through APIs.
• Assisting with company’s system management activities including environment and server configuration and user access configuration across the testing and production environments. 
• Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language, methods and data across exiting system platforms to ensure programs and applications perform to specifications.
• Monitoring system performance, optimising codes and implementing software upgrades and troubleshooting issues that arise.
• Developing, creating, and updating end-user documentation including reports, tips, operational procedures and technical programs, and providing training/response whenever required.
• Presenting suggestions and solutions for improvements, including advising strategies and costs proposals for software/application/program designs and upgrades.
• Working closely with other areas of the company’s business to ensure prompt delivery of results. 

KEY DESIRABLE SKILLS

• A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field of study. 
• Minimum three years of post-qualification experience across systems integration, information management, data management and architecture, and business analytics within an ERP platform.
• Proven experience in Cloud platform (AWS or Azure)and API development. 
• Knowledge on Web Services and Windows Services environment.
• Solid background in software development, eCommerce platform development and support on Java Spring boot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, bilingual ability in English and Chinese Mandarin is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with system integration. 
• Knowledge on Java, Java Script, HTML and Python is a plus.
