Current Opportunity – Analyst to Senior Analyst
With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline, our Corporate Finance & Deals Advisory team is seeking to expand with the appointment of analysts and Senior Analysts.
Your new opportunity
Our clients are typically large infrastructure investors, private equity funds, ASX-listed companies, and small to large sized local and international private companies. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of valuations engagements including the valuation of equity, infrastructure investments, independent experts reports, intangible assets, derivatives, and debt for a variety of reasons including unit pricing, accounting, corporations act, tax and other regulatory valuations.
In your new role you will:
- Conduct valuations of businesses, securities, and intangible assets using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, capitalised maintainable earnings, and option pricing models.
- Analyse financial statements, market data, and industry trends to determine valuation inputs.
- Construct, review and amend financial models.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients.
- Assist in client meetings and presentations, providing expert valuation insights and recommendations.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ideally you'll come from a professional services / corporate finance / investment banking background
- Valuation and/or financial modelling experience advantageous
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills and passion for adding value
