Position: Animal Attendant

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting veterinarians and veterinary nurses during examinations and procedures
Providing basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising
Cleaning and maintaining animal housing and clinic facilities
Administering medication as directed
Comforting and providing emotional support to patients and their owners
Contributing to the clinic's preventative health programs and initiatives
About You:
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including some weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in animal science or Veterinary assistance is a plus
Basic understanding of animal behavior and care
