About Vermont Private Hospital: 

Vermont Private Hospital is part of the Nexus Hospitals group which employs over 1600 talented and passionate people across 27 hospitals, as well as 3 support offices.

Vermont Private Hospital is a purpose-built day surgery/ short stay hospital with excellent facilities, specialising in Ophthalmology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgeries, Orthopaedic, Oral & maxillofacial, Vascular, Micro-Neurosurgery and Interventional Pain Services. Our hospital includes 5 fully integrated operating theatres, stage 1 and stage 2 recovery areas and a 19 bed overnight ward. 

About the Role: 

Due to expansion in our services, wonderful opportunities are currently available at Vermont Private Hospital for experienced Perioperative nurses looking to grow their career in a friendly supportive environment. Roles available for ANUM Perioperative - Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics 

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs. 

Imperative to your success in this role will be:

  • delivering exceptional clinical outcomes
  • education, mentoring and leadership 
  • Supporting the NUM with human, physical and financial resources and quality activities

We are looking to offer Permanent Full Time contract to the right candidate.

About You:

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:  

  • Solid experience in a comparable role within Perioperative setting
  • A passion for educating, mentoring and leadership 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills  
  • A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care 
  • Current Registration with AHPRA 
  • Experience in the above specialties highly desirable.
