Data And Technology Platform Manager

Our leadership team includes well recognised leaders from the Australian financial services sector.We're looking for someone who is passionate about converting our market leading technology and financial products into an iconic Australian brand with us.You must have a high ownership mentality and be willing to work across domains as we begin scaling to deliver our savings products to more individuals, businesses and self-managed super funds.You'll preside over the company's Technology Platforms and data integrations; and propose, design, and deliver data solutions to enable best practice risk-management and decision-making across Sales, Treasury and Operations, Risk & Compliance, and Financial Product Function.Key Responsibilities· Drive the development and delivery of our company-wide data strategy aligned with business objectives.· Oversee the performance, security, and uptime of our cloud technology environments and architect, develop, and maintain code across our applications.· Manage our integration with third party services and design and project manage partner integrations.· Apply Data Science, Machine Learning, and Statistical Modelling techniques to provide economically valuable datasets.· Extract and analyse relevant data from various platforms to inform strategic decision-making processes.Key Measurables· Optimise ongoing data processes for cost-effectiveness while aligning with business and infrastructure budgets.· Develop and propose intricate data models addressing business requirements and technical constraints.· Collaborate closely with Insights and Digital Product Managers and software engineers to embed data-driven practices and services.· Identify and leverage projects and opportunities using AI/ML solutions for improved outcomes.· Engage with third-party providers for specialized projects and effective marketing support.· Advocate for data-driven decision-making and champion the power of Data and analytics.Qualifications and Experience1. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Data and analytics, including roles in Data Science.2. Demonstrated experience implementing industry standards in data operations, reporting, and BI tools.3. Proven track record in executing data projects, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.4. Proficiency in SQL, R or Python, and data visualization tools like Power BI.5. Familiarity with AWS services such as Lamda, Dynamo DB, Appsync, SNS, EventBridge, S3.6. Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.7. Experience with backend code in Typescript and Node.js.8.
