Anz Field Service Engineer - Food Industry

We are looking for an energetic Field Service Engineer for this new position to take care of clients across Australia and New Zealand. The job will include providing technical support, servicing, repairing and solutions installations. Your objective is to build and preserve excellent client relationships through successful commissioning projects and routine service support.
 

Primary areas of focus:

• Dealing with the customer for machinery routine service or breakdown service
• Carrying out service visits to customer plant
• Performing maintenance to supplied equipment at the customer plant
• Preparing timely progress reports or final reports on tasks and getting customers signed off
• Training the plant operators and maintenance personnel
• Performing machine health checks and inspections and recommending spare parts or services needed

• Managing and administering project installation schedule between the customers and the Project Manager
• Supervising site installations
• Managing contractors for installation progress to meet the project schedule
• Collaborating with the Project Manager / Service Manager for project concerns
• Performing tests of the plant & equipment

• Performing technical inspections of customer sites and generating reports for each visit
• Attending to customer service requests or service support
   

You are the right person for this job if you have experience in a similar role; you have been in the Field Service Engineering with the ability to manage installation projects for processing equipment within the food/meat/poultry industry.

You will manage your own time and be flexible about weekend work. You are a strong problem solver with excellent technical skills and customer service code.
