Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced AO4 & AO3 - Fleet Officer to join our team in Berrinba, QLD.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated individuals for AO4 & AO3 – Fleet Officer roles to contribute to a state government department.
Contract Details
  • Hourly rate: AO4(1) $54.34 or AO3(1) $46.27
  • Contract Ending: 30.06.2024
  • Location: Berrinba, QLD
Responsibilities

AO4 Fleet Officer
  • Manage a fleet of more than 150 vehicles, including replacement vehicles, registration, servicing, repairs, and insurance claims.
  • Update, monitor and produce reports for all computer replacements.
  • Ensure all assets and sundry items are registered and recorded.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice to Program staff on a range of administrative matters.
  • Use effective problem solving to resolve issues in situations.
  • Provide effective financial and project management support services.
  • Team leader responsibilities may be required, including supervising staff, allocating workloads, undertaking staff performance and development, team planning and reviews.
AO3 Fleet Officer
  • Assist the Fleet officer in managing a fleet of more than 150 vehicles,
  • Assist the Fleet officer in managing and maintaining all records.
  • Accurately perform tasks in accordance with relevant standard operating procedures.
  • Process routine requests from stakeholders or members of the public.
  • Monitor and edit data for accuracy, highlight data issues and prepare reports.
  • Uphold business efficiency and positive profile of the program.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience in managing large fleets is preferable.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to assist in the coordination of multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
  • Well-developed Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
  • Ability to use judgement and discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
Mandatory requirements to this role are:
  • Class C drivers’ license
