Clients reside in the Unit during their episode of care and are provided with all meals and facilities. About the role Seeking a values-driven Casual AOD Support Worker to support clients of the Geelong Withdrawal Unit through the process of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs by working in partnership with nursing staff to offer the activities and adhere to the timetables of the withdrawal unit program. You will successfully Provide an accurate handover at change of shift Facilitate therapeutic groupwork Ensure compliance with program timetable requirements Clean and prepare client rooms Model professional work ethic, reliability, punctuality, flexibility and accountability

Be proactive in workplace issues and problem solving Carry out Sleepover role in support of the Nightshift RN when required What you have Cert IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Competencies CHCAOD 2C, 6B, 8C, 9C AND 10A/Community Welfare Diploma Experience in an AOD and/or mental health and social service setting Understanding and commitment to mission and values of
