APPAREL/ TEXTILES MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

Function:

The Merchandising Assistant is the daily contact point between our production and customer facing team members. 

Supporting the Operations & Account Managers, the Merch Assistant oversees the administration and support functions of allocated accounts.

This is an entry level position with scope for promotion to Jnr Account Manager, followed by Account Manager. It’s expected that this role will begin Part-time 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage day to day administration requirements of selected accounts 
• Maintain product master files 
• Maintaining critical paths 
• Prepare submission samples and manage sample room
• Coordinate labdips and trims 
• Coordinate incoming and out going parcels
• Raise factory PO’s 
• Work closely with production teams communicating customer requirements 
• Coordinate inputs with our Textile Division and Trim suppliers 

Qualification, Experience & Attributes: 

• Formal qualification in Fashion Design & Technology preferred
• Proven reliable work history 
• Strong administration skills
• Team player
• Can-do attitude 
• Vic Drivers licence and reliable car
