The Role:
TIG Freight is seeking an experienced Application Developers to join the Engineering & IT team.
The Application Developer will drive the maintenance of OpenFreight and will be an integral part of the Engineering team.
To succeed in this role, you will be a strong hands on contributor with excellent PHP, Vue and mySQL skills.
You will have a detailed understanding of modern PHP based web systems and be able to deliver systems functionality end to end.
Role duties:
• Produce high quality code meeting business requirements.
• Ensure your code meets quality and code standards.
• Ensure you meet reasonable delivery timelines.
• Deploy code changes to environments.
Your Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Developer in a commercial environment
• Strong experience with PHP, Laravel
• Strong experience with Vue or similar front end frameworks.
• Experience with MySQL or similar database management system.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with tools & processes such as continuous integration, Github, git, Docker, Jira, and Confluence.
