Housing Connect is the entry point for assistance for people who are experiencing homelessness or are in housing need.About the Role:We are seeking a highly organised person with attention to detail and excellent communication skills to perform an essential administrative role in the Housing Connect Front Door Service.To be successful you will have:
- Well-developed administrative and organisation skills and experience in record keeping and management
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders and partners
- Good assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to follow guidelines while also thinking outside the box to seek solutions
- Capacity and willingness to learn
- Performs an essential administrative function at the Housing Connect Front Door in managing enquiries and workflows from the Housing Connect online portal and the walk-in Front Door.
- Provides advice and support to people seeking housing assistance with accessing services and completing applications
- Liaise with external stakeholders and other team members
- Support other team members and be resilient during busy work periods.

- provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check
- present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
- provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- provide a satisfactory Anglicare-assessed medical:
- provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver’s Licence.
