Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the role
In this role you will provide customer focused, high level specialist technical expertise in the maintenance and support of Clinical Systems, including clinical imaging systems and the Metro North vendor neutral archiving platform, ensuring that Digital Metro North services meet the needs of Metro North Health (MNH).
Together with the requirements of the role description, our ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Support of digital infrastructure, clinical imaging systems and platforms; requiring the application of professional judgement in the formulation of viable technical solutions and a high degree of technical problem resolution.
- Provide a high level of technical expertise and skills to manage the end to end delivery of Clinical Systems, including an understanding of clinical image and information systems, Picture Archive and Communication systems (PACS), and archiving platforms.
- Provide expert support, guidance and coordination to relevant support bodies.
- Provide application support utilising Microsoft Windows Server or Linux operating systems.
- Provide a high level, responsive support service for Metro North Clinical Systems and platforms to Queensland Health customers.
Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience managing system incidents and upgrades efficiently, adhering to ITIL processes for service delivery.
- Familiarity with healthcare communication standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE) and experience with (PKI Certificates, Firewalls and Networking Protocols).
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, is key to achieving successful outcomes.
