Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

We offer a friendly and supportive working environment with the health and safety of our staff being our utmost priority. Our fully equipped Aircraft Maintenance facility is located at the Toowoomba City Aerodrome, Wilsonton.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who is looking to pursue a full time career in our piston engine overhaul facility as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer through an apprenticeship with our company and will be working within a small team of dedicated and experienced engineers.

This 4 year apprenticeship will focus on aircraft piston engine repair & overhaul, component repair & overhaul and Non Destructive Inspection. Duties will include, but not be limited to, engine & component disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly and testing. 

At the end of the apprenticeship you will have completed a Certificate IV in Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical).

As a 1st year apprentice you will be trained in engine disassembly, cleaning, visual inspection, dimensional inspection and repair of sub-assemblies.
