Taylor’s Bakehouse is a small family owned bakery in Sorell. We are currently seeking an Apprentice Baker to join our team.
As an Apprentice Baker, you will receive on-going training and development, and the opportunity to work as part of a small hands on fun, busy and supportive environment.
Taylor’s Bakehouse operates over a 7-day period. Production team starting hours are from 2 am, so early mornings are a must. Weekend shifts will be required.
Your key roles and responsibilities will include:
· Producing great tasting breads, pastries and sweets
· Working with other Bakers and the owner to ensure a high standard of product quality is achieved
· High level of attention to detail
· Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure product is delivered on time to meet customer demands
· Achieving a high standard of cleanliness
· Maintain a high level of safety
· Providing excellent customer service to assist front of house during shift gaps and/or busy periods
· Supporting other team members and foster good working relationships.
