QLD Steel House Frames has just finished putting our first Apprentice Boiler Maker through their apprenticeship and are now ready to start our second apprentice in the same role.
About the Role:
As a Boiler maker Apprentice, you will undertake a 4 year apprenticeship and experience extensive on-the-job and off-the-job training, mentoring and support to develop your practical skills and knowledge whilst earning a nationally accredited qualification.
While at QLD Steel House Frames you will be trained to perform and undertake all aspects of heavy steel fabrication. You will be highly respected in this apprenticeship position.
Whilst you will rotate through each of our departments, you will predominately work within a small team in the heavy fabrication department with a supervisor who is passionate about training the next generation of tradespeople.
The ideal candidate will have the following
- Successful completion of minimum year 10 education;
- Aged between 16 and 21;
- Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Own transport preferred (no public transport in vicinity of workplace)
- Be available to work 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday (Trade classes will be accommodated)
