SchemeWise Pty Ltd works across NDIS, Aged Care and Injury/Rehab sectors in the ACT and southern NSW regions. This is an exciting opportunity with a well-respected, specialist, local provider offering a diversity of work.
SchemeWise is a professional service and rehabilitation business headquartered in Queanbeyan, NSW. All our people work from home or an office location, travelling to our customers or providing teleservice appointments (as required). You will manage a caseload of customers. Regular supervision is a necessary part of working with us. Personal accountability toward completing work on time to meet requirements and quality outcomes, is a must have attribute.
To work with SchemeWise you will:
- Be self-directed, professional, and passionate about supporting people \to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- 5yrs+ experience working with Community/Rehabilitation/Injury sectors
- Hold appropriate clearances and qualifications (Bachelor or higher).
- Have good English, written word capability and be client-focused.
- Be experienced with exercise scripting / reporting / assessments.
- Be proficient with standard office & computer applications and technology literate.
- Enjoy working with a dispersed but friendly and fun team
You will transition into this newly created role over a short period of time, with a flexible start offered. The ideal person has an interest in neurological / spinal cord / injury conditions (you will also work with other conditions) and exercise prescription. Our customers are generally people 16yrs or older with lifelong or acquired conditions or older persons. The role is primarily focused on customers and/or assessments requested externally by other third parties.
This is a contract position for 12 months, with great possibility for extension of up to a further 12 months on basis of performance.

You must have experience writing community, rehabilitation/injury and/or NDIS reports. Previous experience with personal injury and/or neurological services is favourably considered. You will also participate in our practice of continuous improvement, contribute positively to business activity and services delivery excellence.

Work Schedule Requirements
- You will work from home/office, travelling to customers generally.
- You will work a set number of agreed hours (weekly) within standard business times for customer-facing activities, however non-direct activities (e.g. report writing) can be undertaken at other times so long as deadlines are met.
- Be contactable during your agreed work roster times. Our right to disconnect policy applies at other times.
- Participate in supervision practices, training and/or team events.
- Work, at minimum, 21 hours each week (16 hours weekly in 9am-5pm period), up to 37.5 hours each week (30 hours weekly in 9am-5pm period).
- A minimum three months probation applies to this role.
You must have:
- full AHPRA registration plus membership with APA
- relevant work clearances (NDIS, WWVP, WWCC, and police check)
- a reliable car with full insurance + unencumbered drivers licence
- a recent computer/laptop plus tablet
- a smartphone (Android 10+ or iOS 14+) with data plan
- a reliable broadband connection (12Mbps minimum)
- own physio equipment (portable table & minor consumables provided)
- own professional liability and indemnity insurance (or able to get)
- 5+ years minimum work post-graduation (continuous or broken)
- undertake public Worker Orientation and Infection Control Modules or provide completion certificates
- At least two professional referees and be able to provide their details
- Must have full Australian working rights

Remuneration: up to $110.00 per hour (incl superannuation) dependent on background and experience.
