The role:
Full Time position is available for an Apprentice Butcher to join our Thomas Farms Butcher Shop located at Norwood.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn all facets of the butchering industry including the fine art of small goods production.
You will be part of a highly motivated, productive close-knit team that is committed to quality craft butchering and customer service.
Key Requirements:
- The successful applicant must be committed to work weekends in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential.
- Keen and willing to listen and learn.
- Have an interest in food and cooking.
- Excellent hygiene standards and personal presentation
Applicants must be able to work a roster which will include Thursdays to 9 pm and also weekends.
No experience is necessary, but applicants will need to demonstrate a keen interest, have a sound work ethic and great presentation. The position may suit a recent school leaver.
