Butchers Apprentice

Westlakes Shore Foodland are currently looking for a Butchers Apprentice to join the team, both new starters and recommencing apprentices are very welcome.

We are family-run business and create that wholesome family environment, we are looking forward to having a new eager member of the team.

Duties will involve: 

• General butchering duties, general cutting, traying, wrapping, mincing, adding value etc.
• Retail work, serving customers
• General cleaning duties.
• Learning to process bodies of beef, lamb, pork & chicken.

We are looking for:

• Enthusiasm for the art of butchery and a keen interest in learning the trade.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Dedication to quality, detail, and a high standard of customer service.
