We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates who are ready to kick start their career as a Carpentry Apprentice!
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, from new home builds and renovations to refurbishments and commercial projects.
Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply.
With the support of qualified trades people, you will be:
- Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs,
- Laying sub-flooring and floorboards
- Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, door and window frames
- Measuring materials
- Using a variety of hand and power tools
- Carrying out calculations
- Cutting materials, assembling and nailing
- May construct concrete formwork
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
- An interest and commitment to work in the Construction industry
- A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP
- A current Drivers’ Licence, and have your own reliable transport
- Certificate I or II in Construction is an advantage
- Work experience within the construction industry is preferable
- Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have attention to detail
- Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
