We are currently seeking expressions of interest from persons seeking an Heavy Duty Fitter Apprenticeship for a full 4 year course; or who may be mid-way through a current related mechanical apprenticeship seeking a Drill Fitter pathway (prior performance pending).
Action Drill & Blast is keen to support members of the local community in this career opportunity and encourage applications from the surrounding areas of the Greenbushes Mine Site.
Your registered training will be delivered via South Regional TAFE, Bunbury.
The roster will be 7 shifts on; 7 days off; typically 12 hour shifts.
Our experienced maintenance team will support your learning across Epiroc drill rigs, heavy rigid support trucks, IT loaders and associated equipment to become successful in
Performing scheduled drill servicing
Performing unscheduled repairs
Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs when required
Maintaining and servicing light vehicles, support trucks and trailers
Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.
ESSENTIALS TO APPLY
Possess a current, active Australian Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated Language, Literacy and Numeracy competency (minimum completion of Year 10)
- Be over 18 years of age as at 1st March 2024
- Reside within 50km of the Greenbushes Mine Site, South West WA
- Reliable transport
- Right to work in Australia
