As one of AFR’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies, a dual winner of the Victorian Training Awards for Apprenticeship Development ‘22 & ‘23 and a leader in our chosen fields New Plumbing Solutions (NPS) is seeking suitably experienced Apprentice Plumbers who can come on board and hit the ground running and get up to speed with a number of projects particularly in the Mornington Peninsula.
From humble beginnings NPS has grown to a national organisation with circa 200 staff. At NPS we provide high-quality services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management.
About The Role
We pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team; our goal is to exceed customer expectations consistently. This is why we are looking for Apprentice Plumbers who have great attention to detail and take pride in the work they perform and the role they play within our business.
We have established regular and satisfied customers, we are looking for team players, who possess well developed people skills, with the ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner and deliver high quality work, on time.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Repair, install and maintain plumbing systems.
• Exercise good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Complete service and maintenance plumbing.
• Perform tasks within budgets and time frames.
• Perform incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task.
• As appropriate to training level, able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.
• Perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.
• Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
About You
With several projects under way, we need reliable and committed Apprentice Plumbers to join us, do you possess:
• A great attitude with a willingness to learn.
• An aptitude for problem solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.
• Pride in your work.
• Construction Induction Card (red/ white card).
• Police check and working with children's check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one.
