Apprentice Spare Parts Interpreter

Lindsay Transport Division is currently seeking an Apprentice to work in our Spare Parts team in the Brisbane workshop.

The Role:
Reliability is the cornerstone in transport and to ensure reliability we need a fleet that is maintained to a high level. To help us achieve this objective, Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an Apprentice to work in our Spare Parts team in our Brisbane workshop.
Gain a Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting).
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Spare Parts Interpreter on KW, DAF, FUSO & Trailers
• Obtaining quotes & processing invoices
• Receiving & rotation of stock
• Labelling of current and new stock
• Stocktake

About you:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

• Willing to learn a build a career in a workshop environment and commit to an apprenticeship.
• Participation and following directions for all on-the-job training.
• Attending the training organisation to participate in off-the-job training as scheduled.
• Maintaining a Training Record Book and ensure that it is updated accordingly.
• Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
• Be prepared to work occasional weekends.
• You must be enthusiastic, professional & reliable with good communication skills.
• A commitment to work health and safely.
• Basic computer skills.
• Be able to persevere with a busy and challenging role.
• And above all, the willingness to learn and enjoy what you are doing.
