We are a busy progressive smash repair company looking to grow our dynamic team by employing a fulltime junior spraypainting apprentice.

Training will be to above industry standards through reputable employment agencies with onsite training to cover all aspects of theoretical and practical knowledge required for the vast array of automotive brands currently being sold on the Australian market.
You will learn a wide variety of skills pertaining the:-
Prereparation and painting of metals, plastics and fibreglass
Various paint systems in use, colour matching and including the use of computerised colour matching equipment
Gaining knowledge of factory colours and compounds in current use within the industry
Ability to use specialised equipment such as spray guns, sanders and the importance of a tidy work area and care of specalised equipment
Importance of following jobcards and instructions
Importance of time management, the art of problem-solving, working within time constraints and in a team environment.
Wages will be paid in line with the current Industry Award and conditions.
It is preferable that :-
you have a manual C class licence
a clean driving record
strong math and english skills
possess initiative to problem solve and understand the use of a commonsense approach
