Directions Workforce Solutions works in partnership with host employers across all industries and disciplines to develop and upskill the next generation to become qualified and skilled tradespeople.
Our client is involved in the construction of high-rise residential developments throughout the Perth metropolitan area, and is dedicated to producing work of superior quality through cooperation and coordination with all trades.
About the role:
The successful candidate will work with quality tradespeople involved in waterproofing, horizontal or vertical tiling and specialist cuts for edges and corners in some of Perth’s most unique, quality high-rise residential developments.
To be successful for this role you will:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality workmanship
- Be a natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance
- Be able to get on with others and be a team-player
- Have sound safety knowledge
- Have a commitment to attendance
- Be committed to your trade, including formal off-the job training
- Be able to work extended hours on occasion when required
- Hold a C-class driver’s licence
- Be able to complete and pass a vigorous 3-step onboarding process which includes pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing

Candidates must be available through-out the recruitment process which will include completing:
- Aptitude testing
- Initial interview followed by a panel interview
