Work & Training together with our valued Host have an amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment where this apprenticeship will provide the on-the-job skills and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (CPC32620)

What would this involve?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training and hosted to our valued Host Business.
  • Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
  • Attending block training dates through TasTAFE.
  • You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
  • Your workplace supervisors and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.

Learn how to:

  • Install and maintain roofs, cladding and flashings.
  • Install rainwater products such as downpipes, gutters and storage tanks.
  • Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes.
  • Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Develop and utilise your practical knowledge in rain and storm water systems.
  • Enhance your verbal and written communication skills.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

Wage:

  • National Training Wage applies.

Essential requirements:

  • As a physically demanding role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
  • Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle.
  • White Card.
