The Role
It’s an exciting time to join the Aerospace Explosive Ordnance SPO (AEOSPO) and work on Australia’s most complex Defence capabilities. AEOSPO, within Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division (GWEO-DD), are seeking a professional, motivated and experienced APS5 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to perform a broad range of logistics activities in a dynamic and exciting environment where we are introducing the latest technology to various projects and products.
The successful candidates will be expected to aid in the delivery of AEOSPO projects on behalf of Defence. You will be required to;
  • Coordinate the provision of advice and guidance to others on complex materiel logistics activities and tasks.
  • Review and advise on materiel logistics performance within an acquisition project or activity.
  • Understand and apply organisational processes and procedures in the development of Integrated Logistics Support Instructions and materiel support plans.
  • Liaise and maintain productive relationships with internal and external materiel logistics stakeholders.
About our Team
Aerospace Explosive Ordnance System Program Office is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch within the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division, which is part of the new Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group. Our team is made up of various disciplines, including engineering, maintenance and repair, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services.
We are located in Canberra (Brindabella Park), Penrith (Defence Establishment Orchard Hills) and Ipswich (RAAF Amberley) and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
