Our client's mission is to support the implementation of new legislation surrounding primary industries, ensuring a robust framework for the future of our nation's agricultural sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of new primary industries legislation.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to develop and deliver a suite of administrative tools, including new forms, templates, and procedures to support the new legislation.
  • Prepare engaging external communication materials, such as user guides, and coordinate their web publication to ensure widespread accessibility.
  • Assist in the development and testing of system changes to enhance user experience and facilitate compliance with the new legislation.
  • Coordinate and complete ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our team.

Knowledge and Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate some or all of the following:
  • Proven experience in managing multiple priorities with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • A track record of working collaboratively and thriving in a high-performing team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately, ensuring effective problem resolution.
  • Experience in coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and crafting quality communication materials.
  • Familiarity with policy implementation and/or supporting the delivery of projects/programs.
  • A good understanding, or the ability to quickly gain understanding, of relevant legislative frameworks and financial or data management systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate some or all of the following:
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify, implement, and promote improved work practices.
  • The ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in strategically analysing and interpreting complex material to distill key issues effectively.
  • A knack for working both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to team culture.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding planning and organsational skills to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight timeframes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences in various styles, including reports, briefings, correspondence, and presentations.
