Aps 5 - Policy And Program Officer (Children's Policy)

Children’s Policy Branch is seeking a Policy and Program Officer to support activities under Safe and Supported: The National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children. 

While the roles are able to be located in available regional and state Department of Social Services offices, travel to the National Office in Tuggeranong may be required.

The Branch is seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced Policy and Program Officer with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work under pressure in a high profile and fast paced environment.

The role is in the Accountability and System Leadership governance team, which provides coordination and Secretariat functions for the inter-governmental Community Services Ministers meeting and a number of decision-making committees and working groups.
