Our client, a prominent government agency, is seeking a dynamic APS6 Level Procurement Officer to join their team. You'll be part of the Procurement and Corporate Services Branch, supporting various business areas in achieving their objectives.
About the Role:
As the APS6 Procurement Officer (Labour Hire), you'll play a pivotal role in partnering with the Agency's business areas to procure goods and services effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with business areas to establish procurement methodologies.
Preparing procurement documentation and negotiating contracts.
Managing procurement reporting and verification activities.
Implementing procurement and contract management policies.
Providing specialist procurement advice in line with legislative requirements.
Offering timely guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

About You:
We are seeking candidates with:
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience in government procurement.
Exposure to compliance reporting.
Leadership capabilities at APS6 work level standard.
Be able to pass a National Police Check
