Address We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to fill the APS6 SAP Security Team Member role within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technologies Section to achieve organisational goals. Some of the key responsibilities are to provide technical expertise support for business-as-usual activity, project support for SAP security development and testing activities, and help desk support. The SAP Security Team Member is required to work within a team to provide technical solution on SAP Security configuration and development, technical support, maintain user profiles, project delivery, addressing risks and system testing. The successful officer will be motivated, demonstrate financial and project management and be able to manage productive working relationships with internal and external clients, service providers and stakeholders.
The key duties of the position include
This role reports to the Assistant Director within the SAP ERP Technologies section and works within a small team consisting of APS staff and contractors. The role is responsible for providing technical solution support on SAP Security configuration and development and supporting business-as-usual activities and project support for SAP security development and testing activities.
As part of a team, this role will work under limited direction and in accordance with APS Values and Code of Conduct, to:
• Provision and management of SAP user account for SAP users with both automated and manual processes.
• Provision and manage user access on SAP functions across SAP system landscapes including SAP ERP, SAP Fiori, SAP BW, SAP BOBI, SAP Solution Manager, SAC and in other SAP platforms as required.
• Respond to and resolve user access and account issues reported directly from end users and service support request.
• Work with the Department's IT infrastructure provider to support and maintain the synchronisation of user profiles between the Department's IT Network Active Directory and SAP.
• Working with internal and external system auditors on SAP system audit by coordinating required audit material with other supporting teams.
• Support annual SAP system audit conducted by ANAO as part of the Financial Statement Audit activities and internal audit for access reviews.
• Action approved exception user on-boarding request manually and support automated system on-boarding for new starters and user transfer between agencies and within the Department.
• Provide Level 2 and 3 Help Desk support to end users and power users for issue resolution on SAP Security.
• Assist on software upgrades testing related to the SAP Security components.
• Unit testing system changes relating to project and business-as-usual activity.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with technical professionals, Team Members and stakeholders. Assist board members to implement decisions that focus on addressing risks to delivery.
• Ensure the successful adoption of project deliverables by the people that will use them.
• Participate in project planning and management of development and testing.
• Research and advise on opportunities for improvements in SAP Security framework.
• Maintain financial delegation schedule and HR delegation structure for the Department and portfolio agencies.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management, as required.
