The Role:
We are seeking experienced Casual Retail Security Officer who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. This position is to commence ASAP and is based at Caloundra Shopping Centre.
You will be responsible for providing security service at Caloundra, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness.
Role Requirements:
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
- Current QLD Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
- Apply First Aid Certificate
- Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
- The ability to complete reports using various platforms
- Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
- Availability across 7 days/nights
