Our Federal Government client is looking for multiple APS4 Privacy Assistants to join the team on a full time temporary contract. This a great opportunity for those with the Privacy Act 1988 experience.Key skills required for the role:Remediating a range of privacy complaints and incidents in a timely manner. * Ensuring accurate record keeping.Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.Support the implementation of new systems, processes and practical tools within the Privacy team.Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures. * Work closely with peers nationally to manage service delivery performance.Desirable skills for the role:Competency, or ability to develop competency, in working with requirements of the Privacy Act 1988.Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.Knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act)Experience coordinating and responding to incidents and complaints in accordance with Privacy obligations.Develop extensive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Competent with IT Systems.

- You MUST be an Australian Citizen currently. (Those waiting on citizenship or are NZ citizens only are unfortunately not eligible to work within the Australian Federal Government and therefore I will not be able to represent you for any positions).
- Positions are full time hours only, Monday to Friday.
- Positions available are contracts, they start as an initial length and are often extended. There is no sick or annual leave included with contracts. We build in a 25% casual loading to account for this.
- You must be able to clear a National Criminal History Check for all positions and for the majority of roles, you will also be required to obtain an NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Most roles offer work from home arrangements but not fully and you will be expected to attend the office also. WFH arrangements will be made within the branch and with your direct line manager.
- $43.82 per hour plus 11.5% Superannuation
- Initial 6 month contract with potential extension starting late June/early July
