Your new role
As a Workforce Identity & Access Management Engineer, you will be working within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This position is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions tailored to the organisation's internal workforce within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The Workforce IAM Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that IAM solutions align with security standards, compliance regulations, and the core purpose of the Agency, demonstrating a positive attitude towards people with disability.
The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to:- Designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions for the internal workforce, focusing on user authentication, authorisation, and provisioning.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective IAM configurations.
- Configuring and managing IAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
Optimize IAM solutions for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Develop and implement automations to enhance IAM capabilities and streamline administrative tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experience and ability in:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with IAM products and platforms, particularly Entra ID (Azure AD), is highly desirable.
Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage workload and priorities.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell is highly desirable.
