Currently, there are around 4.3 million Australians with a disability. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian. 

A new role awaits

The Partners Contract Branch is seeking a highly motivated APS6 Continuous Improvement to join our team.  

The team is responsible for monitoring and managing contract management for Partners, reviewing contract terms and conditions, providing advice on Partner contracts and ensuring they align with NDIS policy and legal requirements. The branch monitor and manage Partner performance and ensure services are delivered in a timely manner, that are cost effective and of high quality.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the team providing input into a Continuous Improvement program, processes, and templates to enhance the performance of the Partner Program. You will be responsible for leading and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Branch. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. 
 
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Managing and identifying the opportunities, schedule, risk, budget and resources for Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Contributing to improving sourcing and contract management practices, procedures, systems, and knowledge management.
  • Implementing and managing processes and systems necessary to track branch and Partner performance to achieve the desired results.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders in relation to Partner performance metrics and reporting to translate requirements into relevant procedures.

You will possess strong administration and stakeholder engagement experience. You will be confident in your ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and be influential in your deliverances. You will be passionate about making a positive impact for our participants and our Partners in the Community. It is highly desirable for the successful candidate to have expert knowledge on Microsoft SharePoint.

While this role is ideally performed from Robina, Maroochydore, Mount Gravatt & Chermside – QLD, and Geelong – VIC locations, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to two years may be offered.  

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
