The Firm & The RoleOur client is a well known national law firm and have an insurance team that consistently tops the legal tables. Due to new clients and new instructions, our client is looking to recruit a talented Insurance Lawyer with around 1 to 8 years pae. You will either be a lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate.This role will see you working closely with leading insurance partners and their insurer client base which consists of local and international insurers, corporation, government agencies, self-insureds.The role will see you working on a range of general liability, professional indemnity matters including medical negligence matters, engineering risk claims, subrogated claims, business interruption claims, directors & officers liability, claims against financial services providers, product liability matters etcAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:

• Around 1 to 8 years pae in the area of insurance law, pre-admission experience in insurance law will be looked upon favourably
• Our client will look at general insurance and personal injury backgrounds
• Strong writing, litigation and advisory skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• First class organisation skills
• Enthusiasm, can do an roll up your sleeves attitude
